CBR2-10 multimedia carbon block cartridge, with a Ster-O-Tap capillary membrane cartridge insert. The multimedia carbon block cartridge removes chlorine, taste and odor, lead (particulate and dissolved), MTBE, VOCs, Giardia, Toxoplasma, Cryptosporidium and Entamoeba cysts, sediment and fine silt down to 0.5 microns.
Rated at 20,000 gallons for chlorine, 2,000 for lead, 600 gallons for VOC, 500 for MTBE.
The Ster-O-Tap cartridge removes cysts and bacteria, straining down to an absolute 0.15 microns - the smallest know bacteria is 0.3 microns. It does this without the flow restriction of ceramic filters, and without constant cleaning!
